Locums | CRNA | Hospital Based | No Call | Omaha, NE Why This Role

  • Opportunity to cover a wide variety of surgical cases in a Level I Trauma and Academic Center
  • Collegial team-based anesthesia practice with anesthesiologist support
  • Flexible scheduling options available

Assignment Details

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • End Date : Ongoing
  • Coverage Type : No Call
  • Coverage in October and November
  • Flexible scheduling; on / off rotations considered
  • Setting : Hospital based (187-bed Level I Trauma / Academic Center)
  • OR / Procedure Areas : 9 main ORs, 3 endoscopy suites, EP Lab, TEE, Neuro IR, Bronch, MRI lines
  • EMR : Epic
  • Privileges : Required
  • Estimated Credentialing : 60–90 days
  • Trauma Level : I
  • Team Model : CRNAs supervised by anesthesiologists (up to 4 CRNAs per attending)
  • Patient Demographic : Adult
  • Department Morale : Collaborative, supportive, excellent physician–CRNA relationship

    • Requirements

  • NBCRNA Certified
  • Active Nebraska license (or willing to obtain)
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Clean malpractice and background highly preferred

    • Clinical Details

  • Case Mix : General, urology, trauma, neuro, gyn, gyn-onc, ortho, ortho trauma, EP, GI
  • Bread-and-butter cases with emphasis on spine, bariatrics, ortho
  • Supervised practice model

    • Compensation

  • Rates : Facility is accepting bids
  • Malpractice : Provided
  • Travel : Reimbursed
