UI and UX Front End Developer

Bring your passion for creating an amazing user experience to Booz Allen. We need an experienced front-end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates.
This is an opportunity to resolve problems in the Intelligence Community by collaborating with a development team to build an innovative tool with user-centric design.
On our team, you’ll coordinate UI / UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements.
With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have :
Experience with creating and integrating RESTful APIs
Experience with database schema design and querying
Experience with developing modern front-end frameworks, including Angular or React
Experience with visualizing complex data sets in interactive web dashboards
Experience with building APIS using languages, including Python or Java, C#
Experience with Typescript, HTML, or CSS
Experience with AWS
Experience with software testing
TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have :
5+ years of experience with Web Design
Experience with graphic design
Experience with creating UI / UX mockups
Experience with AWS Lambda
Experience with big data applications
Ability to work on a team to collaboratively execute software development life cycle activities, including scope and requirements definition, design, development, and deployment of solutions
Ability to collaborate at all levels and across organizations
Bachelor's degree preferred ; Master's degree a plus
Clearance :
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
