Job Responsibilities :
The student assistant may assist the School of Law Development and Alumni Relations team with general office support including acknowledgments, data entry, records review, event preparation, drafting original written content, and other duties as assigned.
Student assistants will also have opportunities for professional development including training on the university database, Salesforce, and select instruction at the Center for Instruction and Technology (CIT).
Minimum Qualifications :
- Mature and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage confidential information and adhere to university privacy policies
- Extremely detail oriented and attentive to accuracy; ability to multi-task and pay attention to details such as accurate reporting of numbers and outcomes, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Desire to create and foster relationships
- Responsibility, demonstrated ability to complete projects in a timely fashion
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Proficiency with PC and Mac systems, and software including, Microsoft Word and Excel (including Mail Merge)
- Database systems experience is a plus
- Ability to stay focused on large and possibly routine tasks
- Adherence to office attendance standards : Being on time, on task, and on schedule
Desired Qualifications :
- Previous professional experience preferred, not required
- Strong written communications
- Customer Service experience
