Luxury Liaison Officer

The Luxury Liaison Officer assists with the supervision and coordination of activities related to the Luxury Tenant Liaison Program. This position maintains client relations with luxury tenant management and loss prevention agents through frequent direct contact, intelligence and information sharing. The Luxury Liaison Officer must thoroughly understand the luxury tenant dynamic at the specific property and act as liaison between tenant management, contracted security management, mall management, and Simon Corporate Security. This position also assists with incident investigations by acting as liaison with local law enforcement when needed.

Duties and responsibilities of the Luxury Liaison Officer include, but are not limited to :

  • Training security staff on Luxury Tenant Liaison Program.
  • Ensuring all luxury tenants have a scan barcode on the front and rear of the retail space. If barcodes are not working, then they will ensure the following is in place :
  • A paper log for tracking enhanced patrols of each luxury tenant.
  • Working with the Security Director and / or Assistant Security Director to ensure security officers are scanning the barcode of each Luxury Tenant per current procedures based on analysis of current or emerging threats at the property.
  • Networking and liaising with management of each luxury tenant to :
  • Share intelligence and information
  • Discuss security concerns
  • Maintain customer relations
  • Assisting in conducting investigations relating to security incidents involving luxury tenants, acting as a liaison between tenant representatives, security management, and law enforcement.
  • Preparing detailed investigation reports concerning luxury tenant matters.
  • Providing Simon Corporate Security with a monthly luxury tenant report.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write and submit routine reports and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations during scheduled meetings.
  • Education and Experience :

    High School diploma or GED

    Certificates and Licenses :

    State security license where applicable.

    Supervisory Responsibilities :

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities at the direction of the Security Director or Assistant Security Director, in accordance with specific provider Security Services policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; reviewing reports when needed; assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
