Autonomous Vehicle Development technologies is the target for this job requirement within the CASE Automotive Business group.

Job Description : The Functional Safety Expert will support the development of autonomous driving software solutions. The aspirant must possess automotive active safety systems experience and be willing to operate in flat organization structure and across functional teams to leverage the best of capabilities available.

This role will join a team developing the next generation of autonomous driving solutions drawing on state of the art technologies including big data analytics, cloud, agile and automation, for solving business problems in the automotive and next-gen mobility industry.Responsibilities :

  • Functional responsibility for the creation of software architectures and the corresponding documents for embedded microprocessor systems in the automotive field
  • Functional responsibility for technical evaluation and the implementation of process changes
  • Planning and development of software components
  • Support the creation of software design guidelines and design patterns feature based programsMeasurement Metrics for the role include successful deliverables of Assets & Solutions and successful Client EngagementsExperience :
  • 10+ years professional experience in automotive software development
  • Expert knowledge in the area of microprocessor technology and Active Safety systems
  • Extensive experience / knowledge with ISO26262
  • Strong experience with embedded software development for safety critical automotive systems in C / C++
  • Experience with applicable coding standards like MISRA C / C++, Adaptive AUTOSAR C++11 / 14
  • Experience with software engineering processes (CMMI, Automotive SPICE)
  • Experience in the in SW project management are beneficialQualifications :
  • BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Agile software engineering methodology
  • Knowledge in low level software engineering and hardware design
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
