THE JOB :

As the Assistant Director of Beverage, you will be responsible for all aspects of the management of the department. You will provide direction and leadership for the managers, assistant managers, and team consistent with the MGM brand.

You will be responsible for leading the team to achieve the operational and financial goals of the department, monitoring the performance, scheduling, and training of the staff, executing initiatives as implemented by property food and beverage leadership.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY :

• Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, work schedules, rules, and regulations for the beverage staff.
• Drive employee engagement through coaching, training, and development.
• Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in outlets, the characteristics and description of every wine / champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list, designated glassware and garnishes for drinks, all bar menu items, preparation method / time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :

• Possesses a bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of equivalent Food & Beverage experience
• Has at least 4 years of F&B Management experience
• Able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Has experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.
• Describe themselves as a people-person.

Pay Range :

The typical pay range for this role is :

Minimum - Maximum

$69,600.00 - $104,400.00

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan.
