Associate Director (Sales) Professional Services / PE
Our client is a prominent talent solutions firm that serves private equity and corporate strategy clients. They specialize in executive hiring and value creation through interim and consulting engagements, as well as executing retained senior leadership searches across Private Equity / Professional Services.
In this role, you will be tasked with generating new interim and consulting business while partnering with Directors to expand key accounts.
Candidates should have 3-7 years of experience. This position is based in Los Angeles and operates on a hybrid model, with 3 days in the office.
Up to $100k base salary, with $150k-$200k OTE in year one.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizing our client’s proven business development infrastructure to engage with potential clients and foster genuine relationships;
- Earning commissions tied to the revenues generated;
- Collaborating with a highly talented execution team and a network of top-tier executives and management consultants;
- Systematically growing key accounts;
- Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed of industry trends;
- Developing and delivering presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value of our client's services;
- Preparing and negotiating proposals and contracts in collaboration with the legal and finance teams;
- Providing strategic insights and feedback to senior management to improve service offerings and business development strategies;
- Participating in industry conferences, networking events, and other professional gatherings to expand our client's network and brand presence.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in sales, with a focus on professional services or private equity;
- A results-focused and data-driven mindset;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail;
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
