DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ensure that all materials are used in a safe, damage-free, and efficient manner.
• Monitor vehicle and equipment performance and request maintenance and repairs when necessary.
• Check all steps in the installation and finish process for efficiency and quality.
• Be available to complete any task on the job site, as needed.
• Review and approve all work records (time cards or sheets) for each employee reporting to this position.
• Adhere to all established safety standards and procedures to protect employees and the Company.
• Ensure that each job assigned is completed with an accident-free record.
• Seek out opportunities to improve methods, processes, and procedures to benefit the company.
• When requested, train new employees.
• Submit work or activity reports according to Company policy.
• Attempt to resolve any employee grievance before notifying the VP. or the Senior Field Supervisor.
• Clock in and out according to company policy.
• Notify President or Senior Field Supervisor immediately of safety issues, schedule changes, absenteeism, or other problems as they arise.
• Check delivered (or loaded) material and supplies for quantity and type before accepting it use on a job.
• Act in a proactive manner to find better and more efficient ways of improving operations to increase the company’s profit.
• Maintain good, business-like relations with other trades, suppliers, and clients.
• Adhere to and enforce Company policies with regard to ethics, conduct, and appearance.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by the Forman or, in the Foreman’s absence the Senior Field Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience :

Required : Equivalent to completion of high school or equivalent.

License or Certificate :

Working conditions :

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Environment : Construction site; travel from site to site; work with and around heavy construction equipment and pesticides; work at heights on aerial equipment (including ropes / saddles) and ladders; work on slippery and uneven surfaces; work around traffic; exposure to noise, dust, heat and inclement weather conditions.

Physical requirements :

Vision : See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens

and printed documents to operate equipment, and to perform other duties as assigned.

Hearing : Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
