Job Description
Warehouse Operator. Loads and unloads van trailers using forklift. Samples product, picks orders / builds pallets and general housekeeping.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be on feet / forklift 8 hours / day, less break and lunch times. Work is 95% indoors on cement floor.
- Is exposed to dust & humidity.
- Turret lift works at height up to 20 feet.
- 70% of time is spent operating a fork lift.
- 15% of time spent lifting up to 55 lb bags.
- 10% of time is spent completing paperwork.
- 5% of time spent housekeeping.
- Workweek currently is 40 hours with 50 hour weeks common.
