WHO WE ARE

Pallet is a company dedicated to disrupting the logistics industry. Located in San Francisco, CA, we've secured $14 million in funding from investors, including Bain Capital Ventures and Bessemer.

Our flagship product is a cartage Transportation Management System (TMS) designed to streamline business operations. We've eliminated data entry, integrated warehouse management, automated billing processes, and more.

At Pallet, we provide end-to-end logistics visibility, control, and optimization. Our TMS and Warehouse Management System (WMS) offer the tools to enhance logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction with faster and more reliable delivery times for carriers.

This role is a hybrid role in our San Francisco Office

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking to onboard a Senior Software Engineer to join our expanding team. You will become an integral part of our agile engineering organization, taking on a role that comes with high expectations, significant autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.

You'll be well-supported to excel in a dynamic environment focused on engineering innovative products for our TMS software, which serves hard working Americans and has a real impact within the industry.

In this role, you'll work alongside our Product and Design and Product Engineers to ship user-facing applications. We have new product launches on the horizon and we'd love to share more with you in a call.

SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON

  • Lead the charge in developing, deploying, and maintaining key product features from inception to completion.
  • Architect intricate systems with a keen focus on performance, scalability, and security, all while crafting a delightful user experience.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain core APIs, data models, and business logic that drive our product's functionality.
  • Construct and extend well-documented and rigorously tested code that is both highly adaptable and robust.
  • Seize the opportunity to broaden your skill set and gain valuable insights from our dynamic team.
  • Our tech stack is : Typescript, React, React Native, Node, PostgreSQL and GraphQL.

YOU HAVE

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience.
  • Prior startup engineering experience.
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, and a modern product engineering stack is highly desirable.
  • Experience building and shipping strong code with an emphasis on quality, maintainability, and exceptional end products.
  • An understanding of web technologies and excel in crafting large-scale web applications with a product-centric mindset.
  • A curiosity that drives you to continuously create and enhance elegant, user-friendly products that resonate with our customers.
  • An approach to decision-making that is thoughtful, skillful which helps navigate the balance between swift progress and deliberate refinement.

POSITION'S COMPENSATION RANGE

$160-185k plus generous equity.
