Inova Fair Oaks is seeking RN Fellow with telemetry, med / surg, or acute care experience for a position on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Shift : Days, 7a-7p, 3 -12 hour shifts (Weekends only)

Inova Fair Oak’s Telemetry Unit is home to 36 beds. Patients admitted to Telemetry require cardiac monitoring and frequently have cardiac, renal, respiratory, and / or gastrointestinal disease processes.

Requirements : Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting

Previous progressive care RN experience preferred

Minimum Education Requirement : BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required and ACLS strongly preferred (must obtain within first 3 months)

Minimum Licensure / Certification Requirement :

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
