Senior Designer -Plumbing

Job Title : Senior Designer -Plumbing Location : Baltimore, MD Responsibilities : Under close and frequent supervision, assists engineers by performing the routine aspects of engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company. Performs design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignment. Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his / her discipline group. Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes. Researches code issues and works with city, state, and county officials. Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and / or Project Managers. Assists with other duties assigned by Engineers and / or Project Managers. May attend “kick-off” and design review meetings, and interacts with clients as his or her level of experience progresses. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications : BSME / BSEE / BSAE from ABET accredited school preferred but not required. EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) preferred but not required. Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
