This position requires the candidate to have three years current restaurant management experience. Assistant Managers are responsible for assisting with the complete and total management of a Jersey Mike’s store / operation, including, but not limited to :

• Store sales
• Maintain a restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others
• Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere
• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency
• Fill in for Manager in all capacities when needed
• Lead by example
• Key holder
• Interact with customers and provide an exceptional experience
• Day to day food service responsibilities
• Profit margin
• Proficient in slicing
• Knows how to bake bread and perform all prep
• Create employee schedule
• Full understanding of the team’s accountability and integrity
• Manage and lead a crew of 3 to 7 people
• Place inventory orders
• Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store
• Lead by example
• Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions

Qualifications for the job :

• Education : High school degree or equivalent
• 1 Year QSR experience preferred
• Other : Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
• Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler
• Must have reliable transportation
