We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving machinery around the warehouse, loading and unloading machines, and ensuring a smooth shipping and receiving process.
If you have a strong background in warehouse operations, especially with forklifts and power tools, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities :
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move machinery and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload machinery for shipping and receiving, primarily using UPS and FedEx.
- Utilize hand tools (hammers, drills) and saws for cutting wood and building crates for shipping long tables.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner while adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Proficient in shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience with general warehouse duties and operations.
- Ability to operate power tools, including hammers, drills, and circular saws.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Background check and drug test will be required.
