About The Position
Job Title : CT Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year required, 2 years preferred License : Must have Washington license in hand Certifications : AART (Advanced certification preferred), BLS Must-Have : Experience with Neonates, Infants, and Pediatrics is preferred but not required Job Description : Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures in a busy department.
- Participate in ER and inpatient scans, working as part of an excellent team.- Float between various similar units, within the skill set, as needed.
- Work weekends based on call requirements and floating needs.- Facilitate stroke center imaging procedures as part of departmental responsibilities.
- Chart using EPIC system.- Complete 40 hours of non-billable orientation.- Meet compliance with COVID-19 vaccine requirements unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
- Participate in annual and pre-start modules, averaging 16 hours, with completion self-reported.- Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Provide supervisory references covering 1 year in the last three years within a comparable specialty / setting.Note : Local travelers living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract.
