Rehab Technician - PRN

The Rehabilitation Technician assists the flow of patient care between the therapist and patient along with the support of overall clinic operations. The Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the clinic, including tables, equipment, and other tools. The Rehabilitation Technician assists patients to examination and treatment rooms and prepares rooms for various clinic procedures. Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist treating clinician with patient supervision during the treatment program as needed
• Maintains therapeutic equipment to ensure that facilities are kept clean and organized, including returning equipment to proper storage between uses and removing materials or debris from treatment areas
• Cleans and maintains the clinic area, including sterilizing therapeutic equipment, folding towels, stocking supplies, and preparing supplies as needed
• Disposes hazardous waste and soiled materials following safety protocols
• Ensures patients are able to physically travel through the facility by arranging for any necessary accommodations
• Orders and stocks medical supplies
• Organizes and maintains various files including evaluation folders, home programs, and business cards
• All other duties as assigned
