Job Summary

The Service Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality customer service and efficient workflow. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and managerial skills to lead a team of service technicians while maintaining strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive service and diagnostics, along with excellent communication and upselling abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the service department, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and coordinate workflow to maximize productivity.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate service technicians to enhance their skills in automotive diagnostics and repair.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding automotive service.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, providing expert advice on automotive services and repairs.
  • Implement upselling strategies to promote additional services and products to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align service offerings with customer needs.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience in automotive service.
  • Ability to transmit technical information clearly to both customers and team members.
  • Experience in automotive sales is a plus, enhancing the ability to upsell services effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

    Pay : $110, $140,000.00 per year
