Job Description : The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all accounting operations within the organization.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and conducting in-depth financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.

The Accounting Manager will lead a team of accounting professionals and work closely with various departments to streamline processes and drive financial excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal control policies.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the accounting team, including bookkeepers and accounting clerks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and human resources, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and adjustments.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement relevant changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Experience / Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-Haves :

• CPA or other relevant professional certification.
• Experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and principles.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
