Are you excited about this District Manager Trainee job?

As a District Manager Trainee at Affordable Home Furnishings, you'll step into a fast-paced environment where your days will be filled with excitement and growth. You can expect to work a five day week most weeks Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 AM to 7 : 30 PM and Saturdays from 8 : 30 AM to 4 PM with one of those days off and closed on Sunday. Your daily responsibilities will include managing one location and shadowing experienced district managers, learning to oversee multiple stores, and understanding the intricacies of retail management. You'll engage in furniture sales, facilitate collections, and enhance customer service.

Additionally, you'll collaborate with store managers and assistant managers to ensure that customer accounts are managed efficiently. Flexibility and adaptability will be key as you participate in various operational tasks, from coaching staff to driving sales and collections performance through consistent practices that ensure success. This hands-on training will prepare you for a successful career in district management.

Additionally, you should hold a valid chauffeur's license with a good driving record, enabling you to drive company trucks and travel between locations as required.
