Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Full Stack with a solid background in Java Programming and Core Java. The ideal candidate will have proven ability and will work in a hybrid model with a day shift.

Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus. The role involves designing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Programming and Core Java.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure alignment to standard processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement security and data protection measures in applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the use of standard processes.
• Develop and implement unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the software.
• Document software designs, code, and processes for future reference and maintenance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Java Programming and Core Java with 10 to 12 years of experience.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
