Nelsen Corporation is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated team member who is driven to succeed as our next Regional Sales Manager! The Regional Sales Manager creates sustainable inflows of sales opportunities within the specified multi-state territory, while also supporting the local Schertz, TX Branch Sales Team, providing technical expertise and industry knowledge and identifying opportunities for growing the business.

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM; working remote in multi-state territory. No weekends.
Pay : From $85,000 base salary per year; base salary commensurate with experience and skills. Commissioned pay plan, and company-provided vehicle or mileage reimbursement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Assigned Territory and Portfolio
- Meet regularly with existing customers and prospects in assigned territory to understand their needs and identify areas of opportunity.
- Create and execute a territory sales plan that supports entire Branch Sales Team of Account Managers.
- Solicit customer feedback to improve service / address needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve sales strategies and product offerings.
- Manage accounts by tracking orders, following up on past due payments.
Provide Leadership for the Branch Sales Team
- Build trusted relationships within the Inside Sales Team that drive results to maximize selling effectiveness through a mentoring strategy, sales tools and methodology, and training processes.
- Lead and monitor the Team’s sales cycle from prospect identification to contact approach, needs assessment, opportunity development, solution design, sales quotes, and closure.
- Communicate regularly to provide feedback and keep the Sales Team engaged.
Customer Service
- Respond promptly to customer requests.
- Investigate and resolve delivery or product problems in a professional, empathetic manner.
- Utilize CRM to track activity, keep commitments and maintain customer contact.
Teamwork and Collaboration
- Coordinate efforts and provide feedback to the National Sales Director and the National Operations Director.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to facilitate new programs, marketing material and product offerings.
- Partner with the Operations team to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
- Assist and mentor new Outside Sales colleagues.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships and negotiate with clients.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Possess self-motivation, strong work ethic, and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Travel within assigned regional territory 2-3 days per week.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or relevant field is preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience, generating leads and closing sales required.
- Prior experience leading and mentoring a sales team preferred.
- Water treatment or equivalent industry experience and knowledge preferred.
