SENIOR UX DESIGNER

Insight Global is looking for a Principal UI / Visual Designer to join a large financial services company in Detroit, MI.

The Senior UX / UI Designer will collaborate with colleagues in UX, business and IT to develop user interface designs for web and mobile users.

This is a senior-level role, requiring proven leadership ability and considerable experience contributing at a high level to the success of a thriving design practice.

The UX / UI Designer will interface regularly with leadership to share insights on user experience and build consensus on the most competitive product direction.

• Join daily standups
• Work cross functionally with product owners, delivery managers, etc.
• Collaborate with usability, content strategy, engineering and business stakeholders
• Engage and lead colleagues in co-creation, knowledge sharing, constructive critique, and process improvement to elevate the practice of design at the client
• Communicate and carry out the direction of enterprise UX leadership to ensure design meets client standards, from end- to-end, across all customer journeys

$40 / hour to $48.50 / hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

• Design Ops experience
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks
• 5+ years of experience as a UI Designer, Visual Designer, or similar

o Experience designing digital user experiences (mobile or desktop applications)

• Experience working with and presenting to stakeholders
• Proficiency in Sketch, Invision, Adobe CC, or other industry standard design tools
• Bachelor's Degree in UI or related field or equivalent experience
• Must be comfortable speaking in a group setting and have ability to form relationships quickly
