LHH Technology is seeking a Rockstar Network Engineer for our client located in Los Angeles, CA. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining and troubleshooting all data networks.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills along with a thorough knowledge of network architecture and administration.

Key Responsibilities :
- Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently
- Experience with Cisco Nexus
- Extensive knowledge with TCP / IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, PPP, PPTP, IPSec, SMTP, SNMP, STP, VTP
- Sound knowledge about network security and control models
- Experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analysis tools such as SolarWinds
- Experience with Cisco (IOS,ISE,Prime) HP IMC, Paloalto, Velocloud, Aerohive preferred.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership and management skills
- An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to take quick decisions while working independently
- Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology
- Experience working in an ITSM / ITIL environment
- Configuring and installing software, routers, servers and other network devices
- Designing and deploying functional networks such as LAN, WLAN or WAN
- Monitoring network performance, security, and integrity
- Suggesting improvements to network capacity, performance, and scalability
- Maintaining technical documentation and mentoring team on technical issues
- Creating, overseeing, and testing security measures such as disaster recovery and access authentication
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with equivalent technical experience
- 5 years’ experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer
- Point of Sale Equipment / Software, Networking Switches / Routers, WAN / LAN, Firewalls, Wireless Infrastructure, Phone Systems, Payment Devices, CCTV / NVR, MS Office, MS Exchange, SD-Wan, Service Desk (ITSM / ITIL), Project Management
Certifications
- CCNA
- CCNP
Salary / Benefits
- $150,000-$185,000
