Reporting to the Plant Manger, The Food Safety Supervisor is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and people safety systems.
This role involves overseeing the SQF Certified System, HACCP plans, and other certifications to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
They will also manage and lead documentation, quality assurance, quality control procedures, and act as the primary contact during audits.
Key Responsibilities :
SQF Certified System Management :
Lead the development and implementation of the SQF Certified System.
Ensure the effectiveness of the system through verification, validation, and ongoing maintenance.
Take appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the SQF system.
Communicate essential information to relevant personnel for effective implementation and maintenance.
Maintain the integrity and development of the HACCP plan for Norwood and Northvale Warehouses.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
