Project Manager -Masonry
Dynamic and rapidly growing construction company is in need of an experienced Project Manager in all facets of running masonry construction projects.
We specialize in masonry, stone, concrete block, masonry panels, retaining wall systems and minor restoration Our dynamic company provides an exciting, fun, and fast paced environment to work in as well as competitive base compensation and performance incentives.
Experience with Masonry, Concrete Block, and retaining walls is a Plus
Essential Duties
- Ability to assume total responsibility from receipt of the bank budget and signed contract through to completion and final payment.
- Provide leadership and direction to field employees.
- Ensure effective management and scheduling subcontractors to complete all projects on time and within budget.
- Guarantee that all projects meet the high-quality standards required by our company.
- Responsible for monitoring profitability of jobs.
- Verifiable ability to write reports, business correspondence and be able to read plans.
- Management by example with the ability to solve practical problems.
- Professional aptitude to attend job site meetings and interact with financial institutions, customers, employees, vendors, and project team members.
- Ensure that strict safety standards are always followed.
Essential Requirements
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of verifiable experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry and masonry.
- Experience working for a construction or contracting company is preferred.
- Experienced in Safety enforcement.
- Strong construction structural experience or knowledge to identify issues and answer structural related questions.
- Specific experience in detailed finish packages with brick, stone and retaining walls.
- Must have experience with crew management.
- Experience with take offs and purchasing.
- Verifiable experience using Microsoft Office 365.
- Construction software experience is a plus.
- Experience in managing projects at or below budget.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage filed personnel including subcontractors, craftsmen, and vendors.
- Verifiable success at forecasting material, equipment, and manpower needs.
- Self-Motivated with the desire to function independently.
- A passion for quality, timely work within budgeted guidelines.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Trade School or additional education is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish is a Plus.
