Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

SUMMARY
A Level II Trauma Center and Magnet hospital in Missoula, MT is searching for a permanent full-time Registered Nurse for their Intensive Care Unit This is a fast-paced unit made up of caring individuals who put the patient’s safety and concerns before themselves.
This is very much a team-like atmosphere and it’s an excellent opportunity to provide quality care to patients in an environment that fosters transparency, respect and partnership!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients
- Administer medication as instructed by physicians
- Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
- Provide a full range of nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and / or behavioral problems
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year of ICU nursing experience
- Nursing degree / diploma required. Must be willing to obtain a BSN within 3years of hire A RN with 20 years of RN experience will be exempt from the BSN requirement
- Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license (or ability to obtain)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
Pay Scale : $31.60 - 46.00 / hr
