Controller
The Controller provides strategic leadership and direction in conformance with corporate and group policies and procedures. Controlling of SG&A cost centers, facilities & warranty groups.
Primary Duties :
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes and controlling while adhering to US GAAP, Adient policies and SOX requirements.
- Proactively partner with SG&A groups while supporting the directors and managers to develop and support initiatives and improve actual financial results consistent with operating plan commitments.
- Responsible to manage the activities of 4 direct reports.
- Support the month / quarter / year end activities as necessary.
- Support internal and external audit activities as necessary.
- Budgeting and forecasting of all SG&A groups and facilities group.
- Responsible for all journal entries and final trial balance review of month end, balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts.
- Support with Financial information for Capital requests.
- Responsible for the standard roll and costing parts for all plants in America.
- Calculates quarterly warranty reserve for Americas.
- Calculates and coordinates the quarterly inventory variance capitalization for Americas.
- Manages, coordinates, and maintains headcount lists and tracks approved open requisitions vs budget for the groups.
- Support ad-hoc requests.
