The Professional Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is excited to partner with a small, family-owned manufacturing facility in Wooster, Ohio, seeking a 1st shift Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Position Overview :

The Multicraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing both facility and machinery / equipment preventative and breakdown maintenance.

This role requires a strong background in manufacturing maintenance to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Install, modify, and relocate equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
