The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance and operations team supporting Services and Customer Success & Support business units within Intapp.
This position is responsible for managing the organizations budgeting system, policies, and processes and working with department budget owners to create and monitor operating budgets.
This position is accountable for preparing and providing reports and analysis to senior management and the executive committee.
This position is under the supervision of the Director, FP&A and is expected to provide budget and financial analysis identifying areas for improvement and taking initiative to implement and manage processes to support Intapp growth.
What you will do :
- Develop and maintain templates and policies related to budget management for Services and Customer Success & Support business units
- Participate in monthly reviews of budget vs actuals. Gather, document and analyze budget variances. Provide cause narratives and summarize as needed for executive presentations.
- Ensure compliance with current budget and spending policies, and propose improved policies and systems regarding spending guidelines, cost savings, cost allocation, annual planning, and month end close
- Design and build financial models to support business decisions, including historical data and projected results based on assessment of trends.
Structure and extract data to support models.
- Ability to build and understand both CSS and Services capacity models and KPI that impact top line such as utilization and bill rates
- Deliver end-to-end reporting solution for clients, inclusive of KPI / metric selection, back-end data solution and visualization dashboards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand drivers of trends, clearly communicate actionable insights from data-driven analysis and make recommendations for key business decisions.
What you will need :
- Bachelor's Degree with extensive quantitative coursework in economics, finance, statistics, etc.;
- 3 - 5 years of budgeting, financial reporting and analysis and financial systems work experience
- Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) and / or subscription recurring revenue with understanding of how a services organization operate
- Prior experience building, maintaining, and adapting company financial model
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and creatively, apply business acumen and exercise judgment
- Excellent financial / business modeling skills. Expertise in Excel. Demonstrated ability to create, navigate and explain complex models.
- Proven track record of achievement, self-motivation, initiative and integrity
- Highly productive and efficient. Able to thrive managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively consistent with Intapp values
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Advanced skills in Netsuite, Adaptive, Salesforce, Aviso, PowerPoint, and similar systems
- Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL and experience with financial systems integration
- Enjoyment of creating & building models, processes, and solutions from scratch.
