Delivery Dispatch Manager
About the Role : The Delivery Dispatch Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our delivery fleet, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Role Objective :
- Fleet Management : Oversee the maintenance and operation of all delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition and meet all safety and regulatory standards.
- Scheduling : Develop and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient service, balancing customer needs with available resources.
- Dispatch Operations : Coordinate and dispatch delivery drivers, providing them with necessary information and support to complete their routes effectively.
- Maintenance Coordination : Schedule and track vehicle maintenance and repairs, car washes and making sure vehicles are clean, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and train dispatch staff and delivery drivers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Customer Service : Address customer inquiries and concerns related to deliveries, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to transportation and safety.
- Reporting : Generate and analyze reports on delivery performance, vehicle usage, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Vehicle Maintenance : Ensure vehicle registration and inspection on all Salsa vehicles are up to date and all summonses and parking violations are paid.
Making sure that all vehicles are washed, vacuumed, cleaned and filled with gas daily.
Role Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of fleet management and vehicle maintenance.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with the LEAN Management System
Required
- 3-5 years experience in a dispatch or logistics management role, preferably in a Hospitality / Food delivery or transportation environment.
- Proficiency with dispatch software and other relevant technology.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Bi-lingual : English and Spanish
