About The Position
Specialty : Emergency Medicine Physician
Location : Houston, TX
Position Type : Locum Tenens
Duration : Through July 2025
Schedule : On-site coverage including weekends and nights, no call
Shifts :
- 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
- 10 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM
- 4 : 00 PM - 2 : 00 AM
- 8 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM
- Additional shift expected to be added
Facility Details :
- Trauma Level : II
- Support Staff : 40 hours of physician coverage, 41 hours of APP coverage
- Patient Population : Mixed, high acuity; comprehensive stroke care, separate pediatric ER, OB ED on-site
- Orientation : 2 shifts for EMR training and facility orientation
Candidate Requirements :
- Board Certification : American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
- Procedures Required : All Emergency Department-relevant procedures
