They are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee their transportation accounts based in the Greater Washington, DC area.
As a key member of the team, the ideal candidate will have a track record in digital transformation and a solid background in delivering, managing and selling innovative technical solutions in areas such as Application / Software Development, Legacy Application Migration, SaaS / PaaS and DevSecOps.
This opportunity is full time and hybrid in Washington D.C.
Senior Technical Program Manager Responsibilities :
- Lead the delivery and management of transportation accounts, focusing on high-quality service delivery, customer relationship management, recruiting, lead capture and sales efforts
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for transportation accounts, including establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders at organizations like the U.
S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Engage in a hybrid role that involves both billable work and business development activities, leading the technical solution development, sales pipeline development and capture activities for transportation accounts
- Provide consulting services to DOT and FAA customers in areas such as Software Development, Cloud, DevOps, SaaS / PaaS, Agile Transformation, Digital Modernization and Cybersecurity
Senior Technical Program Manager Requirements :
- 10+ years of experience in IT services capture, business development and proposal development, with a focus on the transportation market
- Strong domain technical expertise in fields like Agile Software Development, Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Cybersecurity, coupled with formal management education
- In-depth knowledge of DOT and FAA customer requirements and IT buying habits
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
