FE Controls is looking for a Project Coordinator who can help support our office and Project Manager. The opportunity is great for new grads with the business administration and / or engineering background.
Salary will be based on experience and is open for negotiation.
Project Coordinator Job Description :
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
- Heavily administrative role, including filling out and submitting documents, creating and updating Excel files.
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
- Help prepare budgets.
- Analyze risks and opportunities.
- Oversee project procurement management.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Keep inventory of materials for projects and create / submit purchase orders for more materials as needed.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Work with the Project Manager.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.
- Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement).
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
Project Coordinator Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or related field of study.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Projects, and Outlook.
- Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Access to available transportation.
- Available to travel to various sites throughout the Bay Area.
