Fiscal Policy Analyst

Annual Starting Salary : $76,020
Applications for this position will be accepted beginning 9-26-25 until 11 : 59pm CDT on 10-27-25.
Under supervision, performs specialized research and moderately complex analytical work to assess and report on the City's financial condition, and performs related duties as required.

Days : Monday-Friday
Hours : 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics , or a directly related field, plus three years of fiscal policy analysis experience , or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, provided that the minimum degree requirement is met.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise and / or skills assessment as part of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview, will be selected.
Desired Skills :
O Previous work experience in data analysis and creating reports
O Previous work experience with GIS mapping software
O Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
O Familiarity with statistical modeling software
