CPA Tax Manager - $120,000 per year + bonus
We areseeking a dynamic CPA Tax Manager for a full-time position in Wakefield, MA,offering a base salary up to $120K plus bonus.
This hybrid role requiresin-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote work onMonday and Friday. Join a growing 40-person CPA firm with a diverse client basethat includes both small companies and large publicly traded clients.
Our firmspecializes in tax, audit, and consulting services, handling a broad scope ofbusiness and individual returns. Responsibilities :
- Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professionalstandards
- Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers
- Conduct tax research projects
- Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status andclient opportunities
- Provide training, direction, and supervision to the team
- Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industryspecialization
Qualifications :
- BSBA in accounting
- CPA credentials and / or other advanced degree required
- 8+ years of experience in public accounting
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax
