Job Summary
The Lead Mold Maker fabricates and maintains molds on a master level within James Avery Craftsman, Inc. specifications. Documents technical processes & methods for molds and provides instructions to Associates with mold maker tasks.
Supports the development and implementation of new processes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Generates new methods of improving mold quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Organizes mold making for execution in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Responsible for open detail, complex geometry, plug cut, combination mold material packing.
- Investigates the latest manufacturing technology, equipment and procedures as it relates to mold making.
- Trains Manufacturing Technician and Mold Maker 2 Associates in mold making tasks.
- Collaborate with product development, technology and manufacturing on process improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED :
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently including, but not limited to, verbally communicating with plant personnel regarding work processes and work assignments required.
- Ability to read and understand written work processes, safety instructions, forms, training materials, etc. required.
- Previously attained Wax, Bench, Pre-Bench, Assembly and Finishing Skill areas.
