CORA Services is looking for a Data Systems and Reporting Manager to design, develop and implement business intelligence solutions utilizing Power BI and other data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data visualization principles, data modeling and dashboard development including prior experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
Targeted Starting Compensation : $30.75 / per hour*
rate commensurate with experience
This position is hybrid remote - successful candidate will need to work in the office initially and be expected in the office up to 3 days per week after introductory period of employment
Upholding the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, the Data Systems and Reporting Manager will leverage their technical expertise to provide leaders with meaningful data to support client services and drive improvements.
Responsibilities include :
Power BI Administration
- Design, develop, and enhance a data analytics architecture in Power BI to combine and standardize data from internal client management and operational databases, and external databases as appropriate, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI tools.
- Optimize and fine-tune Power BI reports and queries for better performance and responsiveness.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on how to utilize Power BI effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and business intelligence.
Database Administration
Acquire and maintain knowledge of the infrastructural elements of client database applications in use at CORA
- Manage interdepartmental system implementation and expansion projects in CORA’s client database systems in Salesforce and in CORA’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Set up and maintain user accounts in Salesforce and EHR with appropriate security, role, profile, and licensing settings.
Disable user accounts upon staff termination.
- Maintain data validation rules and remediation of any duplicate, redundant, or inconsistent data found.
- Promote data integrity by developing and implementing procedures to help assure that the data in agency databases is clean, complete, and consistent.
- Respond to end-user questions and support requests for Salesforce and EHR systems.
Report Creation
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
- Design and implement caseload management tools for direct service staff and supervision, including custom reports and dashboards to meet the needs of staff, leadership, and funding sources.
- Utilize SQL to develop and maintain standard and custom reports to meet the reporting requirements for all levels of the agency.
Ensure all reports are presented in a timely, logical, and understandable format.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in a related area of study or equivalent professional experience
- Experience as a business intelligence developer, working directly with Power BI (Dashboards, Tabular Models, Back-end development);
demonstrated ability to build, validate, and performance tune reports in Power BI; solid working knowledge of Power BI administration including managing users, workspaces, permissions, capacities, and gateways
- Knowledgeable about data modeling concepts and tools, including the relational model, entity-relationship diagramming, logical / dimensional data modeling, and physical database design objects
- Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL) in one or more dialects; and well-versed in the knowledge of such database elements as indexes, constraints, functions, calculated fields, queries, and views
- Experience with quality control procedures (monitoring data cleanliness, quality, and reliability) and data documentation
- Experience with social services and / or Electronic Health Records systems data is a plus
- Outstanding critical thinking and strong data analysis skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; adept at building and maintaining effective working relationships with technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the agency, as well as outside partners
