Our client in the property management industry located in Minneapolis, MN is looking to add a Service Technician to their team.
Details : Direct hire position$24-25 phr + monthly commissions ranging from $350-600 monthly Responsibilities include : Perform service requests for residents daily and timely with minimum supervision or assistancePerform system repairs on electrical, plumbing, boilers, hot water heaters, HVAC systems, appliances, with minimum assistancePerform detailed work with carpentry, drywall repairs and interior / exterior painting,Clean pools as directed, monitor chemical balance, maintain logs as required by city ordinances, when applicablePerform daily grounds maintenance of the property including picking up and disposing of all trash, pet defecation removal, maintain pet waste stations, and sweeping walkwaysParticipate in property improvements and preventive maintenance scheduled tasks, promptlyMust take part in the on-call rotation, as scheduledEnsure common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standardsInspect, respond to, and follow up with safety issues, accidents, liabilities and emergency situations immediately Qualifications : 3-5 years maintenance experience requiredHigh degree of mechanical aptitude requiredAble to lift and carry up to 80 pounds, climb ladders and climb multiple flights of stairs at a timeAble to use appliance dolly, push / pull up to 200 poundsAble to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAble to be on feet constantly for entire work shift, if applicableKnowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, swimming pool maintenance, appliances, building systems, irrigation systems, and HVAC systemsHVAC, CPO, EPA certification desiredIndustry designations, CAMT desiredMust agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testingUS driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times
