Position Overview :
As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient care and assisting our healthcare team in a fast-paced gastroenterology setting.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs and performing health assessments.
- Assist with procedures and examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients on gastrointestinal health and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient follow-ups and care coordination.
Qualifications :
- Current LPN license in New Jersey.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in gastroenterology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
