Role Overview :

As the Infra Data Center and Operations Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure and operations of data centers, ensuring their efficiency, reliability, and security.

This role involves working with various tools and technologies to monitor and maintain the performance of enterprise-level systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible : Utilize over 5 years of experience working with these tools to manage and automate infrastructure processes.
• Linux Fundamentals and Scripting : Leverage over 10 years of experience in Linux, PowerShell, and Python to maintain and optimize systems.
• Monitoring Tools : Apply over 2 years of experience working with Splunk, AppDynamics, and Thousand Eyes to monitor and improve system performance.
• REST API Development : Knowledge of REST API and the ability to develop Monitoring Extensions is highly advantageous.
• Application Development : Experience in Java application development at an enterprise level is a plus, particularly if combined with knowledge of architecture tech stacks like Kubernetes, OpenShift, PCF, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Service Now, Confluence, Jira : Preferred experience with these tools to manage and document infrastructure and operations processes.
• Operations Automation : Understanding of Event Management tools and AIOps is desirable for automating and streamlining operations.
• Monitoring Dashboards : Experience defining, creating, and supporting monitoring dashboards for Unix and Oracle databases.
• Observability Solutions : Implement and adjust tools and methodologies for monitoring solutions such as Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Distributed Service Design : Possess practical knowledge of distributed service design, including messaging protocols, caching strategies, and autonomous software design practices.
• Application Performance Metrics : Solid understanding of application performance metrics, KPIs, statistical calculations, machine learning, and correlation for improved system reliability.
• Autonomous Work : Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills : Strong skills to form and maintain relationships with business and technology groups through support and project work.
• Business / Functional Processes : Understand end-to-end business processes and translate business requirements into system requirements, performing impact analysis of changes.
• Technical Writing : Experience in technical writing, including queries, reports, and presentations, to document processes and system changes.

Compensation :

• Full-Time Employee (FTE) : $110,000 per annum
• Contract to Hire (C2C) : Up to $60 per hour
