We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to : Join the Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiothoracic Surgery team in the CVCT ICU and provide high quality care to patients on this acuity adaptable unit for critical care and intermediate care patients.

Ensure care is delivered with a mixture of technological expertise and a positive commitment to meeting patient and family needs.

Be an integral part of a team that provides care for patients requiring specialized care for cardiac and thoracic surgeries and procedures, heart and / or lung transplants, medical devices and a variety of cardiovascular medical diagnosesMinimum Requirements : Facility Requirement : Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile : resume, Medefis portal and all onboarding documentation must have permanent address listed).

Experience : Must have experience Cardiothoracic Surgery and / or Acuity Adaptable area (3 or above).Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.

Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 -Trauma center or similar size hospital.Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).

Licensure and Certification : Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.

BLS & ACLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Reference Needs 2 references from recent work environment / assignments (supervisor or manager only).

FloatingTravelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization.

During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
