Job Summary :
The Electronic Instrument Technician is responsible for installing, programming, testing, troubleshooting electronic instruments and control systems.
This role ensures that all electronic instruments are operating efficiently and accurately to support the production and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Installation and Setup :
Install and configure electronic instruments and control systems as per manufacturer’s specifications and company standards.
Perform calibration and testing of instruments to ensure proper functionality.
Technical Support :
Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding electronic instruments and control systems.
Assist in the development and implementation of new instrumentation systems and upgrades.
Compliance and Safety :
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments of electronic instruments and systems.
Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain detailed documentation of all installation, programming and test activities.
Prepare reports on instrument performance, test schedules, and incident investigations.
Qualifications : Education :
Education :
Associate degree in Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ISA Certified Control Systems Technician) are a plus.
Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming electronic instrumentation and wiring control systems.
Hands-on experience with calibration, programming, testing and troubleshooting of instruments.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong technical skills in wiring and programming electronics and instrumentation.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary Expectations :
$25-$30hr
