Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Opportunity
West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over three decades.
Our -bed acute care facility is fully accredited and included a -bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency.
We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.
We are available hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage.

West Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Assistant Chief Nursing Officer to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
The Assistant Director of Nursing will share responsibility for the overall quality of the nursing care delivered in the facility through planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of delivery systems.
The Assistant Director of Nursing will also assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards; will act as the nursing administration representative at meetings and task forces as assigned and serves as Director of Nursing in his / her absence.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Monitors nursing care to ensure compliance with standards.
- Assists with recruitment, retention and hiring activities.
- Evaluates performance of supervisory staff.
- Facilitates system changes to improve patient care.
- Coordinates performance Improvement Activities.
- Serves on committees and task forces as assigned.

Qualifications

Education : Required : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing either through ADN, Diploma or BSN Program.
Licensure and Certification : Required : Current Texas State Registered Nurse licensure. CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
Experience : Required. Seven years of inpatient psychiatric nursing and / or medical / surgical experience to include management experience.
