- Job Role / Title : Software Test Engineer
- Job Duration : Initial contract of 12 months, with good possibilities of further extension.

Qualifications and Key Skillset for this Role
- At least 10+ years of experience in US Property and Casualty Insurance
- Strong agile background Sprint ceremonies scrum
- SQL : Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data in relational databases.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as ADO, Jira, or HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Should have managed a client-facing role.
- Testing all aspects of the product / system like function / component, system, performance, regression, and service.
- Ability in Manual API testing using PostMan.
- Experience with automated API tests for RESTful applications using Rest Assured or equivalent knowing the Restful concepts and automation practices
- Solid understanding of the STLC process.
- Experience in manual testing with preparing test plans, test cases / scenarios, and executing manually.
- To estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Analyse & Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
- Communication with the Test Lead / Test Manager, offshore Team, Onsite BAs, Clients, Development Team
- Defect Management & Production Support
- Team management, driving and monitoring performance, competency management
- Strong Performance management abilities and a Team Player
- Create and implement processes that result in improved business performance
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office - MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and multiple deadlines
- Monitoring, coaching, and development of team members
- Ability to write code / functions for complex test scenarios
- Reporting Effective communication of Test planning, preparation, and execution.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of automation scripting with the ability to code and debug scripts
- Should have strong team handling and people management skills
- Working experience in Integrating automation tests with UI path
- Working experience with test UI automation tools such as UI Path, and Selenium and an understanding of coding structure and best practices.
