A non-profit organization in St. Louis, MO is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Director of Nursing to join their team!Check out the details below :
Title : Director of Nursing LPN or RN
Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Long-term care
Location : St. Louis, MO
Schedule : Full-time 8 : 30am 5pm, on-call required
Pay : Competitive based on experience. A full benefits package is included!
The DON duties to include but not limited to :
- Develops, maintains, and implements nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice, facility philosophy, and operational policies while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Exercises overall supervision of resident assessments and care plans
- Oversees nursing schedules to assure they meet resident needs and regulatory and budgetary standards; nursing competency testing, and all related records
- Assists the Administrator prepare staff for inspection surveys, instructing staff on matters of conduct and disclosure, being interviewed by inspector, immediate corrections of problems noted by surveyors, etc.
REQUIREMENTS :
- A clean, active MO / compact license as an RN or LPN
- BLS / CPR required upon hire
- 2 years of professional nursing experience in long-term care setting is required
- Minimum 1-2 years in nursing administration or a comparable management position
