The Scheduling Work Coordinator manages operational planning and coordination for FCS, O&M, Measurement, and System Integrity, including assigning and managing work performed by Contractors. The Scheduling Work Coordinator will also receive and handle calls that require research and follow up and must use judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with local, state and federal government on pre-construction, repairs, locates, permits, and encroachment documents for FCS, O&M, Measurement, and System Integrity. Keep ARM current based on completed pre-work. Work with Ops Techs and Ops supervisors for jobs that require a more technical and deeper gas system knowledge.
  • Assign and coordinate work for Field Customer Service (CFOT), Measurement, and O&M. This includes assigning work to crews and individuals.
  • Work with Scheduling & Operations Supervisors to resolve operational service issues and scheduled work orders.
  • Communicate with company personnel and community resources (police, fire, medical, etc.) to ensure appropriate response is being taken.
  • Assure all compliance dates are met. IE. Grade 2 leaks and re-checks
  • Work with Resource Center inventory personnel in the timely ordering and delivery of materials and supplies.

Required / Basic Qualifications

  • Associates degree in other Technical and 1-year related work experience
  • In lieu of Associates degree AND 1 year related work experience listed above, High School / GED
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with FCS, O&M, and Measurement standards and practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products and any email system
  • Demonstrated ability to manage emergency situations in a calm and effective manner
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with Asset Resource Management (ARM), FieldSmart, Service Suite, S2K, SAP or other related computer information systems
  • Working Conditions

  • Hybrid Mobility Classification
  • Sedentary work exerting negligible amount of force frequently or constantly and / or up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects; involves sitting most of the time at a computer, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • Vision and hearing acuity for communication with others
  • Able to be flexible and work additional hours as needed
  • Travel Requirements : 5-15%
