Free Nurse Aide in Training - Non-Certified -
Position Summary
The Nurse Aid in Training will teach you skills where you can provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to assure patient safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Life Care will assist with enrollment into our CNA certification program and may work for a single consecutive period of four (4) months. At the conclusion of the four (4) month period the Nurse Aide in Training must meet the certification requirements to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Life Care Center of Kennewick will provide the CNA course free of charge with an agreement of 1 year employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
