A company is looking for a Primary Care & Geriatrics Coder - Academic Inpatient (Profee).

Key Responsibilities

Select and sequence ICD-10, CPT / HCPCS codes for various patient types

Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and coding

Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures documented in records

Required Qualifications and Education

Active AHIMA or AAPC credential (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, COC, CCS-P, CPC)

Two years of recent hands-on coding experience

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, ICD-10, and CPT / HCPCS code sets

Ability to code at a 95% quality threshold while meeting production standards

Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel
