Description

Seeking a Full Time CAD draftsperson with an interest in lighting fixtures, lighting design, tunable lighting, lighting control systems, and AV technology design.

    • Hours :

  • Mon to Fri from 9am to 6pm (EST)

    • Location (In-Person Only) :

  • Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY
  • In-Person Only. Not Remote. Not Hybrid.

    • Assist Project Manager & Design Managers with :

  • Draft Construction Docs using AutoCAD (Wiring Diagrams, Elevation Details, etc.)
  • Analyze Electrical and Lighting Plans from Architectural Drawings
  • Analyze Architectural Millwork Drawings
  • Use Lutron Designer to Program / Build Lighting & Shade Control Systems
  • Participate in design meetings with Clients, Architects, General Contractors, etc.

    • Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    Required Experience

  • 3 Years of Experience with AutoCAD
  • Takes ownership of assignments (work independently and as a team)

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • BS / BA (or experience) in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Arch Eng.
  • Knowledge of 3-D modeling programs, i.e. Rhino, 3-D Studio Max, etc.
