For MAT-095 and MAT-110, previous experience or a willingness to undergo training on the Carnegie Math Pathways ( https : / / carnegiemathpathways.org / solutions / quantway / ) Quantway courses teaching methodology. $1049.00 per contact hour. - SUFA Part-time, contracted Application Deadline : Open Until Filled Priority Screening : June 5, 2025 Position Summary : SUNY Ulster County Community College, a two-year branch of the State University of New York located ninety miles north of New York City in the Catskill Mountains, is currently accepting applications for an Adjunct Instructor for Mathematics The STEM Department at SUNY Ulster is currently looking for adjunct instructors to cover multiple sections of mathematics courses including MAT-095 Introduction to Quantitative Reasoning , MAT-097 Introduction to Algebra , MAT-110 Quantitative Reasoning , and MAT-115 College Algebra & Trigonometry for the fall 2025 semester (August 25 – December 16). Course descriptions may be viewed in the SUNY Ulster Catalog at catalog.sunyulster.edu .
- This are in-person courses running at various days and times on the main Stone Ridge campus.
- We are not currently looking for distance online instructors in math.
Under the supervision of Mathematics Coordinator and STEM Department Chair, adjunct instructors provide instruction in accordance with established course syllabi and departmental and college policies. Duties and Responsibilities :
